On Wednesday, February 19, 2025, at approximately 4:15 a.m., police, firefighters and emergency medical services responded to a residence in the 28000 block of Livingston Drive in Mechanicsville, for the report of two subjects possibly not breathing. The 911 caller reported one male and one female was possibly not breathing inside of the residence. Deputies from the St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office arrived on the scene to confirm both victims were deceased, all responding firefighters and emergency medical services were placed in service prior to their arrival. Any further updates will be provided when they become available from the Sheriff’s Office, as the deaths remain under investigation.
