VIDEO UPDATE: First Responders Save Man After Medical Emergency Leads to Crash in Lexington Park

UPDATE 8/29/2025: Deputy Bianca Milton was honored with a Life Saving Award. At approximately 12:10 p.m., deputies, firefighters, and EMS personnel responded to Lexwood Drive and Lexwood Court after multiple 911 callers reported that a driver suffering a medical emergency had struck a parked vehicle. Deputy Milton arrived on scene in less than two minutes and found the adult male driver unresponsive and not breathing. Without hesitation, she began CPR, maintaining life-saving efforts until firefighters and emergency medical personnel arrived. CPR was performed for about 10 minutes, during which Narcan was also administered. The driver, a man in his 50s, regained a pulse before being transported to an area hospital. Alongside her efforts, St. Mary’s County Department of Emergency Services EMTs Kaylyn Hooper, Sydney Pearce, Brooke Bixby, Ashley Corley; Paramedic Vincent McGovern; and Bay District Volunteer Fire Department personnel Captain Peter Marshall, Sgt. Jacob Clark, Lt. Blake Tarleton, and Firefighters David Thompson, Matthew Grablick, and Tyler Dodge, who all also provided life-saving care at the scene.
