4,707 Confirmed Cases of COVID-19 and 533 Deaths in Maryland Nursing Homes, Assisted Living Facilities, Rehabilitation Centers and Jails

As of Friday, May 1, 2020, the Springfield Hospital Center, Spring Grove Psychiatric Hospital, Charles County Detention Center, the Charlotte Hall Veterans Home, and the Prince Georges County Jail, have been removed from the list the Maryland Department of Health provides, and it is currently unknown why those have been removed, and if the missing numbers have been into account of the new data provided. On Thursday, April 30, 2020, the number of confirmed cases was 4,783, with 516 deaths. On Friday, May 1, 2020, the total number of cases is 4,707, with 533 deaths.
