The Commissioners of St. Mary’s County held their regular business meeting in the Chesapeake Building Tuesday, Dec. 6, 2022, with the invocation and pledge, followed by approval of the consent agenda. The Commissioners began by accepting the report of the Independent Auditor on the Financial Statements of the Commissioners of St. Mary’s County for FY2022. The Commissioners began by approving the application for the Cooperative Reimbursement Agreement for a one-year period from the Maryland Department of Human Resources on behalf of the Circuit Court for Child Support Enforcement in the amount of $14,016.00 for FY2023. The Commissioners approved the Intergovernmental Support Agreement between the Commissioners of St. Mary’s County and Naval District Washington on behalf of Naval Air Station Patuxent River. The Commissioners then heard a brief on the draft Shannon Farm Master Plan.
