St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office Youth Gun Violence Task Force to Partner with State and Federal Agencies

UPDATE 6/16/2021: Sheriff Tim Cameron is pleased to announce several new community partners assisting with the Youth Gun Violence Task Force. The Maryland State Police is assigning Maryland Troopers to the St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office Youth Gun Violence Task Force, and the task force is partnering with the United States Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, and the Office of the State’s Attorney for St. Mary’s County. These partnerships allow for cooperation among allied agencies to combat gun violence in St. Mary’s County. “It will take all of us: Police and community members, working together to stop gun violence. We urge everyone to report what you know and what you see to our Task Force,” Sheriff Cameron said.
