St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Seeking Identities of Suspects in Motor Vehicle Theft in Mechanicsville

The St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the identities of the persons pictured in a motor vehicle theft investigation. On Sunday, October 25, 2020 at 2:44 a.m., the suspects stole a black 2004 Ford F450 Super Duty tow truck from Rt 5 Auto Sales in Mechanicsville. The suspects arrived on an unknown make of motorcycle and were last seen going north on Three Notch Road. One suspect drove off with the stolen tow truck and the other suspect followed on the motorcycle. Anyone with information about the identity of the suspects or this incident is asked to call Cpl. Case # 66220-20 Citizens may remain anonymous and contact Crime Solvers at 301-475-3333, or text a tip to “TIP239” plus their message to “CRIMES” (274637). Through the Crime Solvers Program tipsters are eligible for an award of up to $1,000 for information about a crime in St. Mary’s County that leads to an arrest or indictment.
