Generous donations from the community in this case to St. Mary’s County Crime Solvers totaled $9,450 on Monday morning. ______________ St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office – Press Release – UPDATE 8/1/2019: The St. Mary’s County Crime Solvers Board is seeking donations from the public to increase the reward for information leading to the arrest or indictment of the person or persons responsible for a recent animal cruelty case. On July 14, 2019, two beheaded black lab dogs were found off of Parlett Morgan Road in Mechanicsville. The St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office’s Criminal Investigations Division is actively investigating the incident and Sheriff Tim Cameron said he wants this horrific case solved.
