UPDATE: Police Arrest California Man for Robbery of Twist Wine and Spirits in Lexington Park

UPDATE 8/22/2019: Information obtained during the investigation led to Corey Scott Angstadt, 51, of California, being identified as the individual involved in the robbery of the Twist Wine and Spirits store, located in Lexington Park. On August 21, 2019, Angstadt was charged with the following: Armed Robbery Robbery Assault First Degree Assault Second Degree Theft Corey Scott Angstadt is currently incarcerated at the St. Mary’s County Detention and Rehabilitation Center on a no bond status. UPDATE 7/24/2019: The St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the identity of the individual pictured. On July 24, 2019, at approximately 11:24 a.m. deputies from the St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office responded to the reported armed robbery at Twist Wine and Spirits located on Three Notch Road in Lexington Park. Initial investigation determined an unknown white male entered the business, indicated he had a weapon, and demanded money.
