UPDATE 4/9/2025: On Tuesday, April 8, 2025, at 5:28 p.m., Solomons Volunteer Rescue Squad and Fire Department (Company 3) was dispatched to a motor vehicle collision at Rousby Hall Road and northbound Route 4 in Lusby. Crews responded with Squad 3, Ambulance 37, and Paramedic Ambulance 203, who arrived on scene to find a T-bone style collision involving three vehicles, with one occupant trapped. The crew from Squad 3 removed the driver’s side door to access the patient. St. Leonard Volunteer Fire Department (Squad 7 and Ambulance 78) arrived and assisted with patient care. A total of three patients were transported by air. Maryland State Police Aviation Command responded with Trooper 2 and Trooper 6. Trooper 2 transported two patients. Trooper 6 transported one patient. Fire and EMS units cleared the scene, and law enforcement remained on site.
