3/3/2023 UPDATE: While responding to a motor vehicle collision with lights and sirens activated, Command 2 was involved in a motor vehicle collision on Three Notch Road at New Market Turner Road. Squad 2 was just behind Command 2 when this occurred and notified the St. Mary’s County communications center of the incident. Squad 2 remained with this incident, and Charles County Squad 2 was alerted for the initial incident. One driver was transported to a local hospital by ambulance, and the other driver self transported to be checked after the incident. Please be cognizant of responding emergency vehicles, while operating a motor vehicle. Troopers from the Maryland State Police Leonardtown Barrack responded and are investigating the collision. On Wednesday, March 1, 2023, at approximately 12:10 p.m., police, fire and rescue personnel were dispatched to the area of Golden Beach Road and Triangle Drive in Charlotte Hall, for the reported motor vehicle collision with injuries.
